Absolute Write is a comprehensive writing site that caters to authors of all levels, not just women. The site offers articles, classes, tips, forums, and other resources. The main focus is on freelancing (Absolute Write considers writing a novel "freelancing", for example).
One feature of particular interest to authors is the "Pulse on Publishing" blog which discusses the many differing facets of the publishing industry. Absolute Write used to feature paying freelance markets for a small fee, but it doesn't look as if they offer that service any longer. However, writers can make donations to the site to help defray expenses.
Still, Absolute Write is a great writing resource. As the tag line says, "Write hard. Write true. And write on."
