Founded in March 1996, Authorlink provides online news, marketing services, and information for editors, agents, producers, writers, and readers.

Helping writers, editors, and agents find one another through book pitches.
Helping writers market themselves through a writers registry.
Providing education, information, and guidance for writers.
Critiquing service assisting writers in polishing their work.
Assisting editors and agents locate publishable manuscripts.
Helping writers, particularly self-published authors, market themselves.
Helping writers with all aspects of books including publishing, selling, and reviewing.
Providing printing services for selected small presses. Another important aspect of Authorlink is forming strong and vital relationships with editors, agents, and readers so the organization can assist writers find agency representation and/or sell their works to major publishing houses.

Under the Read, View, Listen section new resources include articles, audio/visual interviews, book reviews, and the writer's registry. In the Learn/Improve section there's skill building resources, critiquing and editorial services, and conferences.
